Large Loss Claims Handler
Locations needed:
- South East
- Midlands
- Northwest England (Cumbria, Liverpool and Manchester)
We are looking for an experience large loss claims handler, with proven large loss experience of 5 years and above.
The candidate will be expected to travel to policyholders’ homes addresses 2 to 3 times a week to assess contents damage, record all loses, value and negotiate claim settlement for contents items.
The candidate may also need to arrange and manage alternative accommodation for policyholders.
The candidate will need to control and manage the claims spend, make authorised payments. Knowledge and experience required
High level understanding of insurance/indemnity policies and legal structure. Previously held commercial and domestic loss adjuster roles.
Qualifications
Minimum
Full and clean driving license
‘A’ level or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English, or demonstrable ability in numeracy skills & written English.
Ideally
Role applicable qualifications in insurance.
Relevant experience in a similar role.
Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week
