MI Developer - Hybrid
Do you want to join an MI team with varying focuses, and to be somebody with a very specific and direct focus on adding to and improving our Power BI environment.
Job Role:
• Build and amend Power BI reports and dashboards
• Optimise current Power BI reports
• Assist with the migration of reports from one environment to another
• Assist with the management of various workspaces
• Work with the MI team in the production of ad-hoc reports
• Be self-motivated to work independently, managing your time and prioritising your workload appropriately
• Maintain resilience and composure to remain positive under pressure and in changing circumstances
• Demonstrate a desire to take ownership of your work and maintain excellent attention to detail
• Ensure a relevant level of specialist understanding with continuous development and learning
• Undertake any individual or team task in line with the company values
Skills:
Excellent Power BI skills
Excellent DAX skills
SQL MS advantageous
Excellent report presentation skills
Excellent understanding of report layering and drill down concepts
Analytical & logical mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capability to vary approach
Willingness to learn
Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary
The ability to work individually and proactively, as well as part of a team
Exposure to insurance advantageous
Ideally 3 years experience
Monday - Friday - Office - Tonbridge / Hybrid working
