The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of end-to-end electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions and ChargePoint Operator (CPO) services.
You will be developing business and creating new strategic partnerships to increase access to commercial opportunities and facilitate opportunity conversion.
You will be contributing to the development of the strategy through your exceptional knowledge of the market, product, competitor and customer developments. Additionally, you will also be responsible for providing regular feedback on market trends, competitor activities and progress towards business objectives.
Lastly, you will be responsible for delivering against agreed Business Development revenue targets and objectives.
BDM & Statergey:
This role requires an experienced individual to drive and develop business growth and strategy for our client regarding electric vehicle charging infrastructure solutions and Chargepoint Operator (CPO) services.
Responsibilities include maintaining an industry-leading understanding of the market, developing and executing tactics to position our client as a preferred provider, leveraging existing products and services to create USPs, leading commercial negotiations, managing and maintaining a sales pipeline, producing monthly updates, and delivering against set targets and objectives.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess a proven track record of success in an EV sales or business development role, along with a passion for transforming the energy sector through technology. They should demonstrate strategic thinking ability and be comfortable with complex sales and negotiation processes as well as responding to unanticipated situations.
Preferably, the candidate will have sector experience and evidence of working in a high growth, high tech environment.
Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to influence others and effectively time manage between short term and long term objectives.
The salary is up to 40K basic plus OTE up to 55K.
