TECHNICAL ENGINEER
The Role
This job role involves providing technical support on gas meter engineering matters to the management team, customers, and employees.
The key responsibilities and accountabilities include: managing supplier and customer technical queries, overseeing the asset maintenance programme to ensure adherence to internal and industry policies and procedures, updating policies and procedures to reflect industry changes, managing Gas Transporter application process, preparing quotations for end consumers and gas suppliers, arranging and submitting Health and Safety Risk Assessment and Management Plans (RAMS) for installation and maintenance of gas meter assets, establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships, and supporting and coordinating SEL's out-of-hours Meter Emergency Service.
Experience
Previous experience of working in the natural gas / gas metering / construction industry Candidate shall have I&C metering experience Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR) experience would be desirable
