Fire & Flood Technicians (multiple locations nationwide)



LOOKING FOR TECHNICIANS ALL OVER THE UK!

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fire and Flood Technician to join our restoration team. This role involves responding to residential and commercial properties affected by fire, smoke, water, and mold damage. The technician will assist in mitigation, cleanup, and restoration efforts to return properties to pre-loss condition in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency fire and water damage calls.
• Perform water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation tasks.
• Remove damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation, etc.) safely and cleanly.
• Clean, deodorize, and restore properties affected by smoke and soot.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including moisture readings and photos.
• Ensure all work meets industry standards (e.g., IICRC guidelines).
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment.
• Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site.
• Assist with packing, inventory, and storage of customer belongings when required.

*Requirements*:
• Previous experience in restoration or construction is preferred.
• IICRC certifications or BDMA are an asset but not required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
