About the Role

As a Claims Technician, you’ll manage a portfolio of property insurance claims from instruction through to completion. You’ll be the key contact between customers, insurers, and contractors — ensuring claims are handled efficiently, costs are controlled, and service levels are consistently high.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress property insurance claims from start to finish
  • Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and guidance
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional, empathetic manner
  • Allocate and coordinate suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job records in internal systems
  • Control costs and reduce claim lifecycle times
  • Handle low-level complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Meet productivity targets and performance metrics

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in insurance claims, loss adjusting, or property repair coordination
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of insurance claims processes
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and CRM or claims management systems
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • CII Certificate in Insurance (or working towards it) desirable - Our client will support you in this accreditation
